How to create RESTful calls to Spectrum Geocoding REST Web Service

Below is a working sample of a HTTP GET request using the GeocodeAddressAllCountries webservice.
The GeocodeAddressAllCountries service requires an input country in order to geocode.  The above example cites "USA" as Data.Country.

This service uses HTTP Basic Authentication, which means you need to supply your credentials in order to get the response. There will be a prompt visible within Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox and Google Chrome. Your internet browser will know how to submit your credentials as HTTP Basic Authentication.

If you do this HTTP Get request programatically you need to make sure you pass the Basic Authorization credentials (base64) yourself in the HTTP request.

Programmatic example:

String credentials = "admin:admin";

String encodedString = Base64.getEncoder().encodeToString(credentials.getBytes());
String basicAuth = "basic " + encodedString;
urlConnection.setRequestProperty("Authorization", basicAuth);
