Linux OS error codes in Vault logs

Sometimes OS related error codes can show up in the Vault logs:  For instance, in this error:

10:19:44 10.128.14.83:22593 <storage1> ERROR 70110: unable to open the page data file [/coldata_online/pagedata/vivo-sirs_24_20131024-01988.drp], error [0]

ERROR 70110 is a Vault error, saying that the file could not be opened.

However error [0] comes from the OS.  What does it mean?

In this case error 0 on Linux means:

OS error code   0:  Success

Some other errors you might see in this context are:

OS error code   2:  No such file or directory
