Resolve issue where ClickSchedule server is taking a long time to calculate rout or Error related to heap memory in Routing J Server

Issue

After installation server is not starting up.
After upgrading ClickSchedule V5.2 it is taking long time to calculate route between calls.

The log indicates serious problem.
-           EVERE: 5007: Out of memory reached while attempting request. 
             com.mapinfo.routing.engine.cx: Server out of memory. 
-           at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619) 
             Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space 
-           Nov 21, 2012 5:46:12 AM com.mapinfo.routing.j error 
             SEVERE: 5002: The request has timed out. 
             com.mapinfo.routing.engine.cw: The request has timed out

 

Cause

Routing and geocoding server will not start or function properly as it should.

Resolution

As we can see from the error messages this is happening because of low java heap space so we need to check the jvmMx and jvmMs values which are the maximum and minimum heap size of the java/jvm and if it is not sufficient we have to change it.the default size is 128 MB. 
How to change it.
1.      Choose Start > Run
2.      In Run type regedit and hit enter.
3.      Navigate through the tree on the left to my computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> Software > Apache Software Foundation > procrun 2.0 > #Service          Name# > Parameters> java
Now you can see the jvmMs and jvmMx values these two are the maximum and jvm minimum heap size which we can change simply by double clicking on it.
