Issue

User updates the Universal Addressing Module (UAM) International Enhanced database and sees this error in the wrapper log:

INFO | jvm 1 | Caused by: com.g1.dcg.stage.StageException: com.g1.dcg.component.ComponentException: Critical error: The engine usage period has expired

Cause

Issue is one of the following in the <SpectrumServerLocation>/server/modules/addressglobal/conf/unlockcodes.txt file:
  1. The unlock that is in the text file is expired
  2. The old unlock code and the new unlock are in the text file

Resolution

UPDATED: March 30, 2017

If the unlock code has expired, contact Product Distribution Services (PDS) to receive a new unlock code. After receiving the new unlock code, go to <SpectrumServerLocation>/server/modules/addressglobal/conf/unlockcodes.txt file. Delete the old unlock code and place the new unlock code. Stop and restart the server and the new unlock code will be recognized.

If the old and new unlock code are in the unlockcodes.txt file, delete the old unlock code and save the text file. Stop and restart the server and the new unlock code will be recognized.
