No valid unlock code for a database file [errorCode=7] in Spectrum

Issue

User is seeing this message in their wrapper log after applying a new Address Global unlock code in the <SpectrumServerLocation>/server/modules/addressglobal/conf/unlockcodes.txt file::
 
INFO | jvm 1 | <REMOTE>>WARNING: No valid unlock code for a database file [errorCode=7]

Cause

The problem can be one of the following:
  1. The unlock code that is in the text file is expired
  2. The unlock code may not contain a country that was purchased
  3. The old unlock code and the new unlock are in the text file

Resolution

UPDATED: April 12, 2017


Here are ways to resolve your issue:
  • If your unlock code has expired, contact Fulfillment to receive a new unlock code. After receiving the new unlock code, go to <SpectrumServerLocation>/server/modules/addressglobal/conf/unlockcodes.txt file. Delete the old unlock code and place the new unlock code. Stop and restart the server and the new unlock code will be recognized.
  • If your unlock code incorrect and needs to be updated, contact Fulfillment to receive a new unlock code. After receiving the new unlock code, go to <SpectrumServerLocation>/server/modules/addressglobal/conf/unlockcodes.txt file. Delete the old unlock code and place the new unlock code. Stop and restart the server and the new unlock code will be recognized.
  • If you have both the old and new unlock code in the unlockcodes.txt file, delete the old unlock code and save the text file. Stop and restart the server and the new unlock code will be recognized.
