Resolve error 'Your Report request has failed to communicate with Server' in EngageOne Delivery Audit

Issue

While executing report in the EngageOne Delivery Audit (formerly know as Mail360 Data Manager) User Interface the error 'Your Report request has failed to communicate with Server' is observed.

In the  Report Manager log following errors are recorded:
  1. Report requests getting failed on 'Report Inbox', error - "system.web.services.protocols.soapexception:An error has occurred during report processing
  2. There was no endpoint listening at http://<Server_name_ip>/reportserver/ReportService2005.asmx that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.

Cause

Possible reasons could be:
  1. SQL Server Reporting Services or SQL Server is not running.
  2. Reports Data Source settings in SSRS are not correct.

Resolution

Follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the Microsoft Services Console (cmd -> services.msc) and ensure that SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server (services) are up and running.
  2. Go to the SSRS where the reports are deployed and verify the settings (connection string, account credentials, etc.) in the Data Source.
