Message1 Error DMS14203W, Server Error 8410006A

Issue

Message1 Error DMS14203W, Server Error 8410006A

Cause

The probable cause of this is corruption in the file store.
Possibly caused when a user was still logged in when the file store was backed up,

Resolution

UPDATED: October 9, 2017

There is a potential workaround for this as follows:

In your Message1 file store, there is a folder called Users. If you open the latest folder you should see several entries looking something like this:

c96c7d446fd44e799597f3ebf3b67f7b.usr-86fd3a8bb46b4e398b3e444b2d626ed3.GAR
f920c092053b461cbbecc1bddc4032d9.usr-16652944dfff48d499a88f028a7abf57.GAR

The latest one that is corrupt.
What you need to do is the following (making sure your Message1 client is closed):
1. Make a copy of the file BEFORE the last, corrupt one
2. Rename the last ones adding .old to the name
3. Rename the copied good file so that it matches the name of the corrupt renamed file

You should now be able to log onto the Message1 client, and at this point, it is probably a good idea to run the repository integrity check which can only be done when logged on as the doc1 administrator (admin logon, no password).
