Resolve "ERROR 11815: unable to allocate compressed file I/O buffers" in EngageOne Vault

Issue

E2 Vault generates an error when loading documents.

Loader log shows the following error:

00:00:18 ERROR 11815: unable to allocate compressed file I/O buffers
07:59:09 compressing [xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.afp] profile [your_profile] format [AFP]
07:59:09 ERROR 22711: fatal exception, build [5.3M5p1684], code [0xE06D7363], flags [0x00000001], address [0x77E4BEE7]

Cause

This indicates there is a problem with the compressed block size.

Resolution

UPDATED: October 30, 2017
May be resolved by restarting Vault, or modifying the compressed block size in server.ini, and again, restarting Vault.

If doing this does not resolve the issue, contact Technical Support.
