Exception thrown by Stage:GetCityStateProvince in dataflow GetCityStateProvince

Issue

User is executing a dataflow in Spectrum and getting an error "Exception thrown by Stage:GetCityStateProvince in dataflow GetCityStateProvince"

In the wrapper log, there is more details to the error message:

Cause

In the Universal Addressing Module GetCityStateProvince service, the US database is not defined in options.
 

Resolution

UPDATED: April 3, 2017
These are the steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Log into Management Console
  2. Go to Universal Addressing > GetCityStateProvince
  3. Go to Options tab
  4. Define the US database
  5. Click the Save button to save changes
