Automate BPA - 'background' user cannot mount a network drive permanently

Issue

A 'background' user cannot mount a network drive permanently in Automate BPA?

Cause

Insufficient privileges. 

Resolution

UPDATED: October 5, 2017
The user must have sufficient privileges to override Windows security settings to be able to mount a network drive. This is not possible for a 'Background' user.
