Printhead issues on the Connect+ series and SendPro P
Cleaning the printhead may resolve errors 041822008D, 041822008E, 0418220041, 0418420038 and 0418220044.
Products affected: Connect+® 500W, Connect+® 1000, Connect+® 2000, Connect+® 3000, SendPro® P1000, SendPro® P1500, SendPro® P2000, SendPro® P3000
Issue
The Connect+® / SendPro™ P displays one of the following errors:
- 041822008D: right printhead carriage detected an error
- 041822008E: left printhead carriage detected an error
- 0418220041, 0418420038, 0418220044
Cause
The meter detected a printhead issue.
Resolution
Follow these steps to clean the printhead:
- Select Home.
- Select Settings.
- Select Hardware.
- Select Printer.
- Select Printhead.
- Select Clean printhead.
Important: Printhead cleaning takes approximately one minute. A progress bar indicates the cleaning status.
- When the cleaning process is complete, you get prompted to print a test sample.
