HEADLINE ENHANCEMENTS

This section describes the major new features or enhancements that are included in this release.

Active Reports. Additional PB Shipping API – USPS Reporting Functionality

Expanded support for PB Shipping API – USPS reports:

• Added a new report, Postage Adjustment Report, which shows all APV Overpay and Underpay transactions with sum totals.
• Added APV Overpay and Underpay detail to All Transactions – Detail Report and All Transactions – Summary Report.

SUPPORT ITEMS

This section includes items that have been raised via Support and escalated to Development for resolution within this release.

FedEx Freight. Fields Now Passed for Third Party Shipments

Additional fields are now passed to FedEx Freight when using third party billing to ensure shipments process without error. Also, the passing of a pre-allocated Bill of Lading Number now works correctly for this carrier.

UPS World Ease®. Future Shipments No Longer Display on Manifests

An issue has been corrected whereby future, pending shipments would print on the closing of a manifest when operating with UPS World Ease. Now, only transactions shipped on the current day display.

FedEx Web Services. Corrected Non-Standard Container Special Service

The special service Non-Standard Containers now operates as expected, where previously requests did not populate correctly. Additionally, this special service can be used on a package level using the Package Options button within the line item control. Note that the icon is disabled by default, and is controlled by the ShowPackageOptionsButton property.

OTHER CHANGES

This section contains information about minor changes and corrections. It can include issues raised in previous releases that have been corrected.

Project Templates. Fixed Issue with Incorrect Entitlements

An issue has been resolved whereby the Stamps project template displayed for users without the correct entitlements.

Generation 2 Desktop Project Template. Corrected List Management Bulk Printing Error

List Management Bulk Printing now operates as expected. Previously, if the final record errored, all preceding labels failed to print. Also, refer to the Project Template Changes section.

Outputs. Improved Error Handling

A number of changes have been made to the Document Request to ensure that errors are now returned if documents fail to generate.

UPS API. Updated Package Charges Logic

Packages charges are now calculated by the product in instances when charges are not returned by the carrier. Previously, if charges were not returned by the carrier, the system would return an invalid value, thus causing the transaction to fail. Now, the product will apportion the shipment level charge based on package weight.

Large Shipments. Resolved Settings Error

An issue has been resolved whereby the Large Shipments process would error if the Large Shipment Package Limit and Large Shipment Package Spilt settings had the same value.

DHL eCommerce. Added Ability to Pass Carrier Routing Code

Carrier routing codes can now be passed when operating with DHL eCommerce. The code is passed in the RouteCode element within Ship Requests. Also, refer to the XML Schema Changes section.

FedEx Freight. FedEx Web Services. Improved Hazardous Ratings

Improved FedEx Freight and FedEx Web Services rating logic for hazardous items.

UPS Freight API. Corrected Voiding Error

An issue has been resolved whereby 404 errors presented when voiding with UPS Freight API.

CDATA Sections Now Correctly Handled During Requests

When building Request documents, sections containing CDATA are now correctly executed.

Rate Shop. Amended Error with Close Button

An issue has been resolved whereby the Close button on Rate Shop Results errored when processing bulk lists for a second time.
