VERIFIED SOLUTION i

Making a clone of a Layout window in MapInfo Pro

Products affected: MapInfo Pro ™
Layout windows can be cloned, or copied, with all the same frames, text, legends, etc. when using 64-bit versions of MapInfo Pro.

Then, if needed, Layout>Page Setup can be used to adjust the clone's orientation, printer, page size, etc.
All the frames can be moved or resized and adjusted to form a new Layout arrangement using all the original items.

Cloning a Layout:
- Make sure the Explorer window is open.  If not, go to Home>Tool Windows>Explorer
- Go to the Pro tab>Options>Explorer
- Check the box for "Show Windows" and click OK. and click the arrow to return to the main screen.
- Scroll down if needed to the the Window option and click the triangle to show Maps, Layouts, etc...
- If needed, click the triangle next to the Layouts heading to show all the currently open layouts.
- Right-click on the name of the desired Layout and select "Clone".

This will create a new layout.  From there, the new layout can be adjusted using layout>page setup and any frame or object can be repositioned if needed.
