Creating and printing a certified mail shipping label in SendPro Online

You can use Certified Mail to get proof of mailing and electronic record of delivery when you print USPS shipping labels.

You can use Certified Mail to get proof of mailing and electronic record of delivery when you print USPS shipping labels. Certified Mail is only available when using First Class or Priority Mail.

  1. Select USPS from the Home screen or USPS Label from the Print menu.
  2. Select or enter the recipient address.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. Select the type of package and enter the package information if required.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Select a First Class or Priority Mail service.
  7. From the Extra Services list, select Certified Mail.
  8. (Optional) Select Return Receipt or Return Receipt Electronic.
  9. Select Print.
  10. Attach the label and the required forms:
    • First Class Large envelopes: Form 3800 for Certified and 3811 for Return Receipt
    • Priority Mail: Label 3800N for Certified and Form 3811 for Return Receipt

Important: For Return Receipt, you must attach USPS Form 3800 for Certified Mail and USPS Form 3811.
