How to install printer drivers for the DA300, DA400, and more

Products affected: ConnectRight™ Mailer, AddressRight® Addressing System, DA300, DA400, DA500, DA550, DA700, DA750, DA950

Operating Systems Supported: Windows XP, Windows 7 32-bit
Note: Support for these printers ended in October 2015. The printer drivers only support Windows XP and Windows 7 32-bit.

To install printer drivers for the DA300, DA400, DA500, DA550, DA700, DA750, and DA950:
  1. Download the printer driver file.
  2. Navigate to your Downloads folder.
  3. Right-click on the downloaded file and select Extract All.
  4. Select a location to extract the files and select Extract.
  5. In the extraction location, double-click on SAPSetup.exe.
  6. When the Install Shield Wizard opens, select Next.
  7. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and select Next.
  8. Review the ReadMe information and select Next.
  9. Ensure Envelope Designer Plus is selected, and select the model number that corresponds to your printer. Select Next.
  10. The default location for the installation typically does not need to be changed (C:\Pitney Bowes\ED\EVN\). Select Next.
  11. When prompted to Select Program Folder, select Accessories and select Next
Note: If a prompt appears stating "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software", select Install this driver software anyway.
  1. Select Next to install the driver. If the Pitney Bowes Add Printer Utility displays, do the following:
    1. Select OK.
    2. Select Next.
    3. At the Select Port prompt:
    • If the printer is connected to your computer with a USB cable, select LPT1.
    • If the printer is connected to a networking device with an Ethernet cable, select Network Port and enter the IP address or share name of the printer.
    1. Select Next.
    2. Select the appropriate printer and select Next.
    3. Select Finish.
  2. Select Finish.
  3. When prompted to restart your computer, select Yes to restart immediately or No to restart later.
