How to add postage to a DM300c, DM400c, DM450c or DM475

Note: In order to add postage to your meter, you must have funds available in your Reserve Account or USPS® prepaid account, or be using Purchase Power®. For more information, see Paying for Postage.

To add postage to your meter:
  1. Before you start, make sure that your system is connected to PC Meter Connect, a USB Ethernet Connectivity Kit, or WiFi Connection Device in order to communicate with the Pitney Bowes Data Center.
  2. Press Refill Postage.
  3. The Last Refill amount shown is the amount that was added the last time the meter was refilled. Select Last Refill $xx to add the amount shown, or select Another Amount and enter the amount you want to add in whole dollars.
Note: The minimum amount of postage that can be added is $1.
  1. Select Accept.
  2. Select Yes to verify the amount. The system connects to the Pitney Bowes Data Center. The screen displays the status of the process.

  1. When the message Postage Refill Complete is displayed:
  • To print a receipt, select Print Receipt and follow the prompts.
  • To return to Home screen without printing a receipt, press Home.
