Cleaning the moistener wick and holder on the DM100i-DM300C and SendPro 300

Clean your moistener wick and holder if your moistener tank is full, yet sealing is incomplete.
Products affected: DM100®i, DM125™, DM200L™, DM225™, DM300C™, SendPro® 300
Your optional in-line moistener applies E-Z Seal® solution to the envelope flap. Clean your moistener brush and wick if your moistener tank is full, yet sealing is incomplete.
 
  1. Push down on the blue release lever on the moistener.

  2. Pull the moistener straight out to the left away from the machine.

  3. Pull up to remove the holder and wick from the moistener.

  4. Separate wick from metal holder.
  5. Clean the wick in plain water, and rinse thoroughly. Blot the wick with a paper towel to remove excess water.
  6. Reinstall the wick back into the holder.
  7. Reinstall the wick and holder assembly into moistener. Be sure the holder is seated against the top of the wick.
  8. Reinstall the moistener.
    1. Push down on the blue release lever on the moistener.
    2. Slide the moistener back onto the machine. You hear an audible click when it engages.
