Adjusting the display contrast on the DM100i-DM200i and DM110i-DM220i

Products affected:
DM100i™, DM150i™, DM200i™ (P720)
DM110i™, DM160i™, DM220i™ (PR20)
If you have difficulty viewing the meter display due to different lighting conditions, you can adjust the display contrast. The display should be visible when the power LED is on.

Watch this video to learn how to reset and adjust the display contrast on your meter.

Note: If the power LED is on but the display is blank, follow these steps to reset the contrast:
  1. The meter may be in sleep mode - press any key to exit sleep mode.
  2. Unplug the meter.
  3. Press and hold down the number 4 key, then plug the meter back in.  Hold down number 4 until the display is visible.
This will reset the contrast to the default setting.

Follow these steps to adjust the display contrast:
  1. Press the Options key.
  2. Select Adjust the Contrast (option 3).
  3. Select Increase Contrast (option 1) or Decrease Contrast (option 2) to change the contrast level as necessary.
  4. Press Clear (back arrow button) twice to return to the Home screen.
