How to edit an account in Budget Manager or Inview on the DM500, DM800, DM900, DM1000 and more

Note: This only applies to meters running the optional Budget Manager or Inview accounting packages. Contact your Pitney Bowes Sales Representative for information about options and pricing.

To view and edit accounts:
  1. Press Accounts.
  2. Select View/Edit Accounts.
  3. Press the right arrow button for Set Up Accounts.
  4. Select the desired account name or type in the name of the account.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. If there are sub-accounts or sub-sub-accounts, you will see the following options:
    • Account name - view only (un-editable)
    • Status
    • Description
    • View Subaccounts
  7. Select View Subaccounts for more details.
  8. Select the desired options and follow the prompts.
    • Edit Account Name (Note: Once if transactional data has been processed against the account, the Account Name cannot be changed.)
    • Change Speed Code
    • Status
    • Password
    • Budget
    • Sending Limits
    • Description
  9. After editing or viewing, press Enter to return to the Edit/View Accounts menu.
  10. When finished, press the right arrow button or Enter to save the account information.
  11. Press the left arrow button to return to the Main screen.
