How to enable automatic refills on the DM500, DM800i and more

Products affected: DM500™, DM525™, DM550™, DM575™, DM800™, DM800i™, DM825™, DM875™, DM900™, DM925™, DM1000™, DM1100™
To enable automatic refills:
 
Note: Connectivity Alert: Automatic Meter Refill requires that the meter be physically connected though a phone line or LAN connection to perform a postage refill.
  1. Press Menu.
  2. Select Set Up.
  3. Select Basic Settings.
  4. Press the Down Arrow.
  5. Select Automatic Refill.
  6. Select On, Enable automatic refill.
  7. Select Ok for the Connectivity Alert.
  8. Press the  Left Arrow to exit Set Up.
Setting the Auto Refill Amount

The Auto Refill Amount is the dollar value of the refill when refilling with postage. 

To set the Auto Refill Amount:
  1. Press Menu.
  2. Select Set Up.
  3. Select Basic Settings.
  4. Press the Down Arrow.
  5. Select Auto Refill Amount.
  6. Press the Clear button, then enter the desired refill amount.
  7. Press Enter.
  8. Press the left arrow to return to the home screen.
Setting the Low Funds Warning

The Low Funds Warning is the dollar value that triggers the Auto Refill to occur. When the meter reaches this value, the Auto Refill will be initiated the next time the system is power cycled.  

To set the Low Funds Warning:
  1. Press Menu.
  2. Select Set Up.
  3. Select Basic Settings.
  4. Press the Down Arrow.
  5. Select Low Funds Value.
  6. Press the Clear button, then enter the desired refill amount.
  7. Press Enter.
  8. Press the left arrow to return to the home screen.
