StreetPro and editing the geocoder layer

The geocoder layer in StreetPro CLASSIC (formerly referred to as EAL) opens in MapInfo or other products as a read-only layer and cannot be changed by default.  An example of the geocoder layer which is used as a reference table for geocoding within MiPro would be NYGeocoder.tab  (State/layername - NY/Geocoder).

This layer is made up of three relational tables, two of which are editable. To edit this layer, changes need to be made to the two component tables, which will then be reflected in the main Enhanced Address table (ssgeocoder.tab).

For detailed information on how to work with these files, refer to the chapter: "Editing the Classic Layer" in the StreetPro Product guide .pdf available on the DVD or at this main link
