How to zero the scale on the DM100i and DM125

Learn how to zero the scale on a DM100i and DM125.

To zero your scale, ensure items are removed from the scale and follow these steps:
  1. Select SCALE
  2. Select Zero the scale
If you are unable to zero your scale, there are two likely reasons:
 
  1. Your scale may be turned off. To turn your scale on:
    1. Select SCALE
    2. Select Turn Scale ON
  2. You do not have/use a scale. To manually enter your weight:
    1. Press your Weigh / Rate key
    2. Select Enter manual rate
    3. Select Change to g  (If it displays 0 g at Enter Weight, go to step 4)
    4. Type 5 or the weight of your mail piece on the keypad.  It will display 5 g or the weight entered
      • A regular letter rate is an item from 1 to 30 grams.
    5. Select Continue
Your meter will prompt you to select a class.  Select the desired option.
