How to install the Datamax W1110 printer for SendPro

Products affected: SendPro™
If you order the SendPro™ Networked SendKit, you will receive both the Datamax W1110 printer and a 70 lb. USB Scale (item # 397-D). To install the Datamax W1110 printer, refer to the Workstation w1110 Installation Guide and the Getting Started guide.

There is no need to install the printer driver when using the Connect+™ / SendPro P Series. The printer driver only needs to be installed when using a Windows computer.

Download the Driver Package
  1. Go to the Datamax website
  2. At the top of the Datamax website, select Support & Downloads
  3. On the left side of the web page, select Downloads & Drivers
  4. In the middle panel, change the drop-down to Workstation NEW
  5. Select the link Windows Driver Ver. This will download the driver to your Downloads folder.

Extract the Driver Package
  1. Go to your Downloads folder and double-click do_<version>_M-0
  2. If the Open File - Security Warning pop-up box appears, select Run
  3. In the Windows Printer Drivers dialog box, select I accept the terms of the license agreement and select Next
  4. When prompted to select an Installation Directory, if this is a new install, the default of C:\Seagull should be used. If this is not a new install, change the directory to C:\Seagull2 or C:\Seagull3 to create a new directory. Select Next.
  5. Remove the check from Read installation instruction and select Finish
  6. If prompted Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC, select Yes

Connect the printer to your PC

If the printer is not connected to your computer, connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable. Turn the printer on.

Install the Driver
  1. After extracting the driver package, the Welcome to the Seagull Driver Wizard dialog box automatically appears. If the Welcome to the Seagull Driver Wizard dialog box does not automatically appear, open the installation directory, such as C:\Seagull, and double-click on DriverWizard.
  2. Select Install printer drivers and select Next
  3. When prompted How is this printer going to be attached, select USB and select Next
  4. The W1110 printer should be displayed. Select Next.
  5. In Specify Printer Name, do not make any changes and select Next
  6. Select Finish
  7. If a Windows Security pop-up box appears, select Install. The Install Status progress bar will load.
After successful install of the driver, message Seagull Driver Wizard Completed Successfully will be displayed. Your printer is now ready for use.
