Installing the Datamax w1110 (1E40, 1E35, 1E41, or 1E45) printer via USB (non-networked) for Windows or Mac OS X for SendPro Online or PitneyShip

Learn how to install a Datamax w1110 (1E40, 1E35, 1E41, or 1E45) printer via USB (not on a network) for Windows or Mac OS X for SendPro Online or PitneyShip.
Products affected: SendPro® Online, PitneyShip™, Ship a Package, Datamax w1110 printer (1E40, 1E35, 1E41, or 1E45)

Note: There is no need to install the printer driver when using the Connect+ series and SendPro P. The printer driver only needs to be installed when using SendPro Online on a computer.

Windows

  1. Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Turn the printer on.
  3. Download the Windows printer driver. This driver supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows.
  4. Go to your Downloads folder and double-click on Setup.exe.
  5. If a security warning appears, select Run.
  6. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement and select Next.
  7. When prompted to choose an installation directory, select Next.

  8. Uncheck Read installation instructions and select Finish.

  9. If prompted Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC, select Yes.
  10. Ensure that the printer is turned on and plugged into USB.
  11. If the there is a flashing red and green light on the printer, wait until the printer has a solid green light.
  12. Select Install printer drivers and select Next.

  13. Choose Install a driver for a Plug and Play printer and select Next.

  14. Select Next.

  15. Select Finish.
  16. Select Close.

Mac

  1. Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Turn the printer on.
  3. Download the Mac printer driver.
  4. Follow the Mac CUPS Printer Driver Installation Instructions to install the driver.
