How to understand the use of the courtesy period when all licenses are currently in use in MapInfo Pro

If a customer is running concurrent licenses and all licenses are in use the next user gets a message saying this but also has the opportunity to start the courtesy period. This temporarily results in a license overdraft.

This is by design and according to Product Management there is not licensing issue here if a user start using the courtesy period.

Note! If the licenses are used in a CITRIX environment the courtesy period is started on the server. There is only one courtesy period on the server for all users.If clients are running on physical machines the courtesy period is available once for every client on his machine.
