MapInfo Professional 10.5 or 11 is unable to Print to the MapInfo PDF Printer Version PDF printer driver in Windows 7.

To resolve this issue with MapInfo Professional™, change the Port settings on the printer driver. The following steps will walk through that process.

Step 1: Go to the Windows 7 Start Button and choose Control Panel. Step
2: Select the Devices and Printers option.
Step 3: Right click on the MapInfo PDF Printer Version 10.5 or 11.0 and choose Printer Properties.
Step 4: Access the Ports Tab. If it is set as below, LPT1 checked, this setting will need to change.

Step 5: Click the Add Port button, highlight the Local Port option, and choose New Port

Step 6: Name the port "LocalHostPort", Local Port, etc.

Step 7: Click OK, and then Click Close

Step 8: Verify that the new local port that was created is checked:

Once this is all done, restart MapInfo Professional and attempt to print once again.
