Setting up a wired LAN connection on the DM50-DM60

To set up your DM50/DM55 or DM60 meter via wired LAN or a wireless (WiFi) network, follow the steps below for the device that you have.

To connect your meter using a Pitney Bowes Communication Device

Open the DM50/55/60 Communication Device Setup Guide and follow the instructions to connect your meter through wired LAN connection or WiFi using the Pitney Bowes Communication Device.

Note: On Page 12: "Ports and protocals needed by the Connectivity Device":
  • Port 443 (HTTPs) should only be used with a DM60 (K722).
  • Port 21 (FTP) should be used for the DM50/DM55 (K721 / K724).
 

To connect your meter using a SmartLink Device

Visit the SmartLink Setup Instructions page and follow the instructions to connect your meter through wired LAN connection or WiFi using the Pitney Bowes Smartlink Device.

 

If you are interested in acquiring any of the above devices, contact Technical Support. Please have your Meter type ("PCN") and Serial Number (Meter #) ready, these can be located on a white sticker at the back of the meter.
