Requesting an extra seat be added to a license for MapInfo Pro

Products affected: MapInfo Pro™, MapInfo Professional®
On occasion, it is not possible to return a license from an existing installation of MapInfo Pro™ (PC crash, user forgets to return the license before removing MapInfo Pro™). On this occasion you need to:
  • Make a note of the Serial Number and Access Code being used
  • Contact Client Services mentioning that you need a license to be released and stating the reason, Serial Number and Access Code and the number of seats that are affected
An amendment will be made to the seats available on the license and you will then be able to license MapInfo Pro™ on a new machine.
