How to add, edit and delete Products in SendSuite Xpress and Ascent

Products affected: SendSuite® Xpress, Ascent™
To add new a Product
  1. Open Ascent Setup or Xpress Setup:
    • For Ascent Setup: Select Start > All Programs > Ascent > Ascent Setup.
    • For Xpress Setup: Select Start > All Programs > Xpress > Xpress Setup.
  2. Select Tables > Products.
  3. Select Add.
  4. Fill in information about the Product. The following fields are required. Any other fields are optional unless required by the carrier:
    • Using Product for Dimensions: 
      • Product Information tab: Product Code, Product ID, Description, Length, Width, Height
    • Using Product for Customs/SWOG:
      • Product Information tab: Product Code, Product ID, Description, Quantity, Default Qty, UOM (Unit of Measurement), Unit Price, Suggested DV, Weight
      • Commodity Information tab: Any Text#1 (Orig. Country), Any Numeric (D.V./Customs)
  5. Select OK.
  6. Repeat for additional Products, or select Cancel to finish.

To edit a Product
  1. Open Ascent Setup or Xpress Setup:
    • For Ascent Setup: Select Start > All Programs > Ascent > Ascent Setup.
    • For Xpress Setup: Select Start > All Programs > Xpress > Xpress Setup.
  2. Select Tables > Products.
  3. Select List.
  4. Select the Product and select OK.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Change the fields as needed.
  7. When finished, select OK.

To delete a Product
  1. Open Ascent Setup or Xpress Setup:
    • For Ascent Setup: Select Start > All Programs > Ascent > Ascent Setup.
    • For Xpress Setup: Select Start > All Programs > Xpress > Xpress Setup.
  2. Select Tables > Products.
  3. Select List.
  4. Select the Product and select OK.
  5. Select Del > Yes.
