Assigning a static or dynamic (DHCP) IP address to AddressRight printers

To assign an IP address dynamically via DHCP
  1. Press the ON LINE button until the screen displays OFF LINE.
  2. Press and hold the Menu key for about 2-4 seconds to enter the Setup Menu.
  3. Using the + or - keys to scroll, go to Communication > TCP/IP > DHCP, pressing the Enter key to select each.
  4. Change Disable to Enable and press Enter > Menu.
  5. Press Menu until you are back at the Ready screen.
To assign a static IP address
  1. Contact your IT department to obtain an IP address for the AddressRight Printer, as well as the required Subnet Mask and Gateway for your network.
  2. Press the ON LINE button until the screen displays OFF LINE.
  3. Press and hold the Menu key for about 2-4 seconds to enter the Setup Menu.
  4. Using the + or - keys to scroll, go to Communication > TCP/IP > DHCP, pressing the Enter key to select each.
  5. Change Enable to Disable and press Enter > Menu.
  6. Scroll down and select IP Address.
  7. Use the + or - key to set each IP Address section, pressing Enter to confirm each setting.
  8. Once the IP Address is set, press Enter > Menu.
  9. Scroll down and select Subnet Mask.
  10. Use the + or - key to set each Subnet Mask section, pressing Enter to confirm each setting.
  11. Once the Subnet Mask is set, press Enter > Menu.
  12. Scroll down and select Gateway Address.
  13. Use the + or - key to set each Gateway Address section, pressing Enter to confirm each setting.
  14. Once the Gateway Address is set, press Menu until you are back at the Ready screen.
