Printing a USPS shipping label with a tracking number in SendPro Online

Products affected: SendPro® Online
To print a USPS label with a tracking number, you need to select the correct combination of package type and tracking service, and you may also need to attach an additional form from the Post Office.
  1. From the Home screen, select USPS.
  2. Enter the recipient address.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. Select the item you need to ship:
    • Priority Mail Box
    • Priority Mail Envelope
    • My Box or Envelope
  5. If prompted, enter the package dimensions and weight and select Next.
  6. Select the desired mail class.
  7. Select the desired tracking service options.
    • If the tracking service is automatically included, no extra labels are needed. The barcode with the tracking information prints on the shipping label.
    • If the tracking service is not automatically included (optional), you need to use the appropriate special service label:
      • Certified Mail (form 3800-N)
      • Return Receipt (form 3811)
      • Return Receipt Electronic (no form needed)
      • Signature Confirmation (form 153)
For Certified Mail, Return Receipt or Signature Confirmation, you must attach both the shipping label and the appropriate form. Forms 3800-N, 3811 and 153 can be obtained at a USPS Post Office.

The combination of package type and mail class determines the available USPS tracking services. For more information about USPS tracking requirements, see the USPS Domestic Mail Manual.
