Resolve Error E103 "Reseat Fold Plate" on the DF800 and DF900

Issue

The machine is displaying error code E103 Reseat Fold Plate. Check that it is fully inserted. and will not run.

Cause

Fold plate 1 is not inserted.

Resolution

  1. Remove fold plate 1. Fold plate 1 is the one on the right.  
  2. Push both blue levers outward and pull up on the fold plate.
  3. Reinsert the fold plate one back into the machine.
  4. Press Trial Piece to test that the error is resolved.
If the error returns, reboot the folder with the fold plate inserted:
  1. On the lower left side, turn the machine off using the switch.
  2. Remove fold plate 1.
  3. Push both blue levers outward and pull up on the fold plate.
  4. Reinsert the fold plate one back into the machine securely.
  5. Turn the machine back on.
  6. Press Trial Piece to test that the error is resolved.
If the issue is not resolved, contact client support. Please have your model number ready.
