Issue

The machine is displaying error code E106 with Feed Tray Empty. This will cause the machine not run.

Cause

The machine tried to run but it detects no paper in the feed tray.

Resolution

If the tray is empty:
  1. Put paper in the paper tray on the left side of the machine.
  2. Press Trial Piece to test.
If the tray is not empty:
  1. Remove paper from the tray.
  2. Fan the paper.
  3. Put the paper back in the paper tray on the left side of the machine.
  4. Press Trial Piece to test.
Reboot the folder:
  1. Turn the machine off using the switch on the lower left side.
  2. Wait ten seconds.
  3. Turn the machine back on.
  4. Press Trial Piece to test.
