Resolve FedEx End of Day process stuck on "Connecting to 127.0.0.1 Please wait..." in SendSuite Xpress or Ascent

Issue

When printing the End of Day (EOD) manifest for FedEx, the Get FedEx Files window is stuck on "Connecting to 127.0.0.1 Please wait...".

Cause

FedEx is configured to get the End of Day report via FTP, but FTP is not supported.

Resolution

To resolve this issue:
  1. Select Start > All Programs > Xpress > Xpress Setup.
  2. Sign in, if prompted.
  3. Select Carriers > Custom Configuration > Definition.
  4. Select List.
  5. Select FEXP and select OK.
  6. Select Edit.
  7. Select the On-Site Server Settings button.
  8. Uncheck Get EOD Reports via FTP.
  9. Select OK.
  10. Select OK in the upper left.
  11. Close Xpress Setup.
