Resolve Move To function not working within Company Network on MapInfo Professional

Issue

The Move To Functionality does not work within LAN on MapInfo Professional®. The Icon is active, the dialog window is active, it is possible to type in an address however the search is not displayed in the Map Window.

Cause

The User's GET request works fine with Proxy authentication(Including a GET request for http://dev.virtualearth.net/webservices/v1/geocodeservice/GeocodeService.svc ). However, the HTTP Post requests is failing.

You may be able to clear this issue by modifying the MapInfoPro.exe.config file (add the following lines between <configuration> and </configuration>

<settings>
<servicePointManager expect100Continue="false" />
</settings>
</system.net>

Start/Restart MapInfo Professional® and check if this resolves your issue.
