Resolve performance issue while loading browser in 64-bit versions of MapInfo Pro on Windows 10

Products affected: MapInfo Professional 64-bit within Windows 10 environment.
 

Issue

MapInfo 64-bit users on Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 are experiencing performance issues while loading up browser.
The speed is delayed as compared to the 32-bit versions of MapInfo Pro.

Cause

There was an issue with the way browser was interacting with the third party dll that we use within MapInfo Pro.

Resolution

UPDATED: December 5, 2019
Please update the MapInfo Pro v16.0.2 patch which fixes this issue:

Application of MapInfo Pro v16.0.3 patch is also advisable as and when it is available to completely resolve this issue.
