EngageOne Deliver “locked up” immediately after sending message

A  problem with EngageOne® Deliver [v2.1][build 16805] has been found.   Immediately after sending a message via EngageOne, EngageOne Deliver would “lock up”. The User Interface (UI) would become totally unresponsive and reviewing the task manager, the EngageOne Deliver Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7 instance was taking up 100% of one core (for example ~57% of 2 CPUs). 


Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 7 and 8  are documented as being supported and although JRE V7 was installed, the system went into an infinite loop. 


UPDATED: January 18, 2019
Upgrading to JRE 8 should resolve the issue. In case of questions or if the issue continues, contact support.
