Resolve MapInfo Pro License Server Not Running

Product affected: MapInfo Pro™

Issue

After starting MapInfo Licensing server it is showing 'Not Running' in Title Bar(Screenshot Attached). In this situation user cannot  activate/return MapInfo License. 

Cause

The issue arises when MapInfo licensing server services is not running or not set to automatic.

Resolution

UPDATED: September 14, 2017
The issue can be resolved using the below steps 

1. Close MapInfo licensing server.

2. Go to 'Run' and type 'services.msc'.

3. Search for the following two services and start/restart them and set their start up type as 'Automatic'.
     
    a. MapInfo License Server

    b. FLEXnet Licensing Service

4. Restart MapInfo Licensing server.
