Error Code: 2AB3, Resolve on the DM550, DM800i and more

Products affected: DM500™, DM525™, DM550™, DM575™, DM800™, DM800i™, DM825™, DM875™, DM900™, DM925™, DM1000™, DM1100™


The machine displays error code 2AB3. This error indicates the Weigh On the Way (WOW) is out of calibration and will not function.


This error may be caused by multiple conditions:
  • Pieces of paper are stuck in the WOW
  • A mail piece that is too thick was fed through the machine
  • The machine was moved and is not level or on an unstable table. When moved, the machine has to be tested and re-calibrated by a service representative.

Follow these steps to clean the mail path and restart the machine:
  1. Turn the machine off and lift the transport lever
  2. Check for pieces of paper or debris
  3. Blow with non-flammable canned air
  4. Lock the transport lever back in place
  5. Turn the machine back on. Do not touch the machine while it is powering up.
If the issue is not resolved, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Please have your model number ready.
