Error Code: 2484, Resolve on the DM100i, DM125, and more

The meter displays error code 2484 and will not take the mail piece.


A mail piece was inserted before the previous mail piece had ejected.

To prevent this issue, make sure that the previous mail piece has completed before inserting the next mail piece.

If you continue to receive this error message, restart your meter and clean the mail path. Follow these steps to restart safely:
  1. Unplug the power cord.
  2. Wait one to three minutes.
  3. Turn the jam release handle on the front of the meter clockwise and check for any debris in the meter.
  4. Turn the jam release handle counterclockwise to close the jam release.
  5. Plug the power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
If the issue is not resolved, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Please have your model number ready.
