Resolve Error 1965 on the DM500, DM800, DM900, DM1000 and more

Products affected: DM500™, DM525™, DM550™, DM575™, DM800™, DM800i™, DM825™, DM875™, DM900™, DM925™, DM1000™, DM1100™


The meter displays error code 1965 and will not print.


A cover is open.


UPDATED: September 1, 2017
  1. Make sure that all blue jam release handles are closed and all covers are completely shut.
  2. If the error is still displayed, restart the meter:
    1. Turn the power off with the power switch.
    2. Wait for the display to turn off.
    3. Wait one to three minutes.
    4. Turn the power switch back on.
