Resolve Error 1104 on the DM500, DM800i and more

Products affected: DM500™, DM525™, DM550™, DM575™, DM800™, DM800i™, DM825™, DM875™, DM900™, DM925™, DM1000™, DM1100™


The meter displays error code 1104 and will not print.


The internal meter software has encountered an error.

You may be able to clear the error by rebooting the machine and checking for updates:
  1. Turn the power off with the power switch.
  2. Wait for the display to turn off.
  3. Wait one to three minutes.
  4. Turn the power switch back on.
  5. Wait for the machine to boot up to the main screen.
  6. Press Menu.
  7. Select Setup.
  8. Press the down arrow.
  9. Select Updates and Add Ons.
  10. Select Check for Updates.
If the issue is not resolved, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Please have your model number ready.
