Can Portrait Interaction Optimizer use multisubnetfailover parameter?

Operating System: Windows

Database: SQL Server

SQL Server can make use of an additional multisubnetfailover parameter in the connection string as part of a database resilience strategy if the SQL Server cluster is correctly configured to support this feature.

A customer may wish to use the multi subnet fail over feature within SQL Server.

UPDATED: March 29, 2017
A customer may choose to implement a database resilience strategy for their SQL Server cluster through the use of the multi subnet fail over feature. The use of the multisubnetfailover parameter in the connection string should be transparent to the calling application, but this functionality has not been regression tested under fail over conditions in either the Portrait Foundation or Interaction Optimizer products.  Any customer wishing to implement this feature should be aware that they do so at their own risk as this feature is not officially supported.
