Resolve Error 1A80 on the DM500, DM800i, DM900, DM1000 and more

The meter displays error code 1A80.


The internal meter software has encountered an error.

You may be able to clear the error by restarting the meter and checking for updates. Follow these steps to restart safely:
  1. Turn the power off with the power switch.
  2. Wait for the display to turn off.
  3. Wait one to three minutes.
  4. Turn the power switch back on.
  5. Once the meter has rebooted, press Menu.
  6. Select Setup.
  7. Press the down arrow.
  8. Select Updates and Add-Ons.
  9. Select Check for Updates.
