How to resolve the message insufficient funds on the DM100i, DM125 and more

Products affected: DM100®i, DM125™, DM300C™, DM400C™, DM475™, DM500™, DM550™, DM800™, DM800i™, DM900™, DM1000™,DM1100™ and DM Infinity™


An attempted refill failed, and the message insufficient funds or balance too low was displayed.


A refill attempt was made for more funds then what was available in the postage account.

There are insufficient funds in your postage account to refill your meter for this amount. To resolve this error, refill your meter for a lower amount or add funds to your postage account.
