How to resolve errors that require a software update on the DM100i and DM125

Issue

The meter is displaying one of the following error codes and may require a software update:

Cause

Meter attempted an operation which may require an update.

Resolution

UPDATED: July 6, 2016
You may be able to clear this error by simply restarting your meter and getting a download. Follow these steps to clear your error:
  1. Unplug the power cord; wait one minute
  2. Plug the power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet
  3. Press Options
  4. Press Page Down twice
  5. Select Connect-Data Center
  6. Select Uploads & Downloads
  7. The meter will now connect to the data center; if the meter says UPDATE AVAILABLE select Get update now
NOTE: Do not turn off or unplug the the meter during the software update.
  1. Select Continue when the screen says Install successful and you will be returned to the Home screen
