How to resolve no scale line or blank weight on a DM100i and DM125

Learn how to resolve no scale line or blank weight on the DM100i and DM125.

Issue

The scale line on the display is missing or no weight is being displayed. The display shows g, not 0 g.

Cause

The meter is not detecting the scale or it does not register a weight.

Resolution

  1. Lift the scale up off the meter
  2. Unplug the power cord, wait one minute and plug it back in
  3. During this time, turn the scale upside down, verify the scale pins are not bent, remove the 4 rubber pads from the bottom of the scale
  4. Reinstall the scale
If your issue is not resolved, contact customer support from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. Have your model number ready.
