VERIFIED SOLUTION i

Changing DPI and width when saving a Layout Window as a JPEG causes the resulting image to have more white space than a image that has not had it's width changed

Products affected: MapInfo Pro.
 

Issue

When opening Bing Aerial (for example) in a Layout Window and changing the DPI to 250 and the Height to 50 ( File>Save Window As) the resulting JPEG images does not come out as expected as it contains a lot of white space.

Cause

This is a bug within MapInfo Pro.

This was fixed in the MapInfo Pro 15.2.2 update patch.
