Resolve zero scale weight when shipping in SendSuite Xpress or Ascent

Products affected: Ascent™ 9.25, SendSuite® Xpress 9.25


When processing a package using SendSuite® Xpress or Ascent™, the weight shows zero (0) even though there is weight on the scale.


This is a known issue with the version 9.25 software update.


UPDATED: August 15, 2016
To resolve this issue:

Option one:
  1. Select SetupSetupGeneral.
  2. Select Obey Default Weight when scale is used.
Option two: 
  1. Change the programmed setting:
    1. Select Scale/Meter.
    2. Select Screen Parameters.
    3. Select a number below 0.50.
  2. Change this setting on the Shipping Screen Builder for each screen.
