How to resolve scale not weighing correctly on the SendPro 300

Issue

The mailpiece is not being weighed correctly by the scale.

Cause

The scale may not be communicating with the meter.

Resolution

  1. Remove any items from the scale.
  2. Select Default Preset or a Custom Preset that uses the scale.
  3. Select Scale.
  4. Select Zero the scale.
  5. Test with an item of known weight.
  6. If the scale is still not weighing correctly, remove the scale from the top of the meter. If you have an external weighing platform, unplug the cable from the back of the meter.
  7. Unplug the power cord.
  8. Wait one to three minutes.
  9. While waiting, place the scale back on top of the meter, or plug the external weighing platform back into the meter.
  10. Plug the power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
  11. Test with an item of known weight.
